Paladins can be the noble warriors of the battlefield or the dark servants of the underdark. They prize their belief in their alignment above all else. They are good fighters, almost as good as a warrior, but also have some magical talents of a priest. Paladins begin with skill in the flail. The paladin's primary stat is INTELLIGENCE but primary class paladins also get a bonus to CONSTITUTION.

In order to be fully effective, a paladin must maintain an extreme alignment as their skills and spells become more powerful with a strong good or evil alignment.
