The 'static' item flag is added to very common items in the game to help with overall efficiency of loading and saving player files.
A 'static' item can not be modified in any way other than with functions that only set object flags. This means it is ok to auction, keep or donate a static item, but you cannot enchant or customize it in any way.
For the type of items this will be set on it will not matter in most cases and this helpfile exists only to explain what the flag is and why it exists.
